We have just been staying in a cottage in this area, saw the signs for this pub whilst walking at Low Force. We went for a evening meal. What a delightful, quaint, beautiful, picturesque pub. Landlady was very welcoming, friendly and we hadn't booked but we were made to feel very welcome. Food was 5 Star, gosh was absolutely delicious. Our table had the lamb and others had the rib eyed beef - mouthwatering! Fabulous selection of ciders. Pretty beer garden with breathtaking views. Would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely place,well tended beer garden to sit in.The food is excellent all home cooked.Steak & Ale pie is so tender.Really nice staff too.
